What integrations does UpCanary support?

Connect UpCanary with Slack, Discord, PagerDuty, and more to get alerts where your team already works.

UpCanary is building integrations with the tools your team already uses for incident response, communication, and project management. When available, integrations are configured as notification channels and assigned to rules just like email.

This section describes what’s coming and which plans will include each integration.

Chat & Team Communication

Slack (Starter+)

Send monitor alerts and incident updates directly to a Slack channel. Configure which Slack channel receives which alerts by creating separate channel configurations per Slack destination.

Discord (Starter+)

Post alerts to a Discord channel via webhook. Useful for developer communities and teams that run operations out of Discord.

Microsoft Teams (Pro)

Post alert cards to a Microsoft Teams channel via the incoming webhook connector.

Webhook

Webhooks (Starter+)

Send a JSON POST request to any URL when an alert fires. Webhooks are the universal integration - if UpCanary doesn’t have a native integration for your tool, you can receive structured event data and process it yourself or route it through automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.

The webhook payload will include the monitor name, event type, current status, affected regions, timestamp, and a link to the monitor detail page.

Incident Management

PagerDuty (Pro)

Create and resolve PagerDuty incidents automatically when monitors go down and recover. UpCanary will integrate with PagerDuty’s Events API so alerts flow into your existing on-call rotation and escalation policies.

OpsGenie (Pro)

Open and close OpsGenie alerts based on monitor state changes. Supports routing to specific OpsGenie teams and responder groups.

Communication

SMS (Pro)

Receive text message alerts on monitor down and recovery events. Requires a verified phone number. SMS is best used for high-severity monitors where immediate awareness is critical.

Phone Calls (Pro)

Receive an automated voice call with a spoken alert summary for critical monitor failures. Intended for the highest-priority monitors where a text or email might be missed.

Ticket & Issue Tracking

These integrations are planned for auto-creating tickets when monitors go down, keeping your incident tracking in sync with your engineering workflow. All ticket integrations are planned for the Pro plan.

Staying Updated

Integrations are under active development and will be released incrementally. When an integration becomes available, it will appear in Notifications > Channels under the “Add Channel” flow. Existing subscribers will be notified when new integrations launch.
